The Dreaming Robots affiliate program is designed to support individuals who help promote our products in a tasteful and appropriate manner. Affiliates must not spam links or post them in places where promotions are not welcome. Affiliate links should not be shared in any Dreaming Robots groups (as members there are already familiar with our products) or in other forums or communities where link posting is prohibited. Any misuse of affiliate links, including generating complaints, may result in removal from the program.
This program is primarily intended for affiliates who create their own blog posts, videos, or other original content, or who promote our products through personal recommendations. If you are unsure whether a particular use is acceptable, please contact us for guidance.
Affiliates may share either referral links or a coupon code. When a customer uses an affiliate link or coupon code to purchase a product, the affiliate earns a 5% commission on the purchase price. Commissions are paid out automatically on a monthly basis via PayPal.
Creating an Affiliate Account
There are a few manual steps in the account creation process to help keep bots from registering.
First, go to our Affiliate Dashboard.
You need to log in dreamingrobots.com to create your affiliate account or see your affiliate dashboard. You can create an account on this site when purchasing items from the store, so you hopefully already have an account. If you don’t have an account, contact us explaining why you want one, and we can manually create an account for you. Make sure you include this information:
- Preferred user name
- Full name
- Brief description of why you want to be an affiliate
If your application is approved, an account will be generated for you on our website. You will get an email asking that you choose a password. You can then set your password. Please note that this is a manual process, and your account may take some time to set up.
Once you open a normal account on dreamingrobots.com you can log in to the Affiliate Dashboard. Only after this can you create an affiliate account. Most of the fields are obvious, but you can choose a “coupon code” that is memorable (maybe your username) to refer people to the site. After submitting this application, I need to approve it, which is again a manual process so it might take some time. After it’s approved, you will get an email.
When you go to the Affiliate Dashboard with an approved account you will be able to generate links or QR codes. You can also see stats on how many people have used your links and the money you’ve made.
Usage Information
Cookies used to track and credit affiliate sales are stored for 10 days.
In your Affiliate Dashboard, under the “Referral URL” tab, you can create a custom referral link. To do this, enter the URL of any page on the Dreaming Robots website—such as the product page for the EEW 6.0—and the system will generate a referral link for you. This allows you to send customers directly to the relevant product page, which is especially useful if you are reviewing a specific product on your blog or website.
A link to your Affiliate Dashboard is available at the bottom of every page on this site for quick and easy access.
Required Disclosures
In the USA (and many other countries), Â the law requires you to clearly disclose when you are being compensated for promoting or linking to a product. This usually means placing a short, easy-to-notice disclosure near the product placement or link. This article explains these requirements in more detail and provides examples of acceptable disclosures. If you are located outside the U.S., be sure to comply with any additional local regulations; however, all users are expected to follow at least these disclosure standards when using these links.
