EEW Nano 2.1 Giveway!
I’m giving away two brand-new EEW Nano 2.1 spinners (shipping soon!) — and all you need to do to enter is share your photos.
Here’s how it works:
- Send in photos of you using any EEW tool.
- The nicer the photos, the better since I’d love to feature them on Instagram and other places where we show off our amazing community.
I’ll randomly select two winners before the EEW Nano 2.1 goes on sale in my shop. That means the contest ends as soon as the Nano 2.1 is in stock (should be either late September or October 2025).

EEW Fold Update
I released a new video about the EEW Fold eSpinner that I’ve been designing. It’s pretty exciting as I talk about the new circuit board features, and lots of other improvements. Check out the video below.
Tour de Fleece 2025
While the world watches the Tour de France bike race each summer, the fiber community celebrates with the Tour de Fleece! For the past several years, the EEW community has joined in with our own team, and it’s become a fantastic tradition. Vampy, one of our amazing community members, has been organizing the EEW group. She’s done an incredible job making it an inclusive, welcoming, and fun space.
This year saw a huge turnout! Most of the activity happens in the EEW Facebook, Ravelry and Discord groups, where participants post daily photos of their spinning progress. I donate a few prizes each year, and Vampy randomly selects winners from those who share their work.
It’s a low-pressure, high-fun event that motivates people to spin a little more each day, and I absolutely love scrolling through the photos and reading all the creative/encouraging comments. It’s one of those community moments that reminds me why I love this work.

EEW Nano 2.1 Is Almost Here
The EEW Nano 2.1 is officially on the way! It’s currently on a boat headed to my warehouse, and if all goes as planned, it should arrive at the Boston port in mid-September. That means I expect to start selling the Nano 2.1 and the upgrade kits by late September or early October, assuming there aren’t any extra delays.
After carefully crunching the numbers and barring any unexpected changes to tariffs (currently 57.5%), the prices will be:
- EEW Nano 2.1 – $139
- EEW Nano Upgrade Kit – $39
To thank everyone who has been patiently waiting, I’ll be offering a 10% discount during the first week of sales. The upgrade kits are an especially great value. Each one comes with 6 bobbins (normally $30 on their own) plus a flyer and other parts, all for just $39.
For context, the EEW Nano 2.0 launched three years ago at $125. This new price represents an 11% increase, which is right in line with overall inflation (about 10% over the same period in the US). Given the challenges in global trade, I’m proud to have kept the increase this small; thanks in large part to ongoing manufacturing and assembly optimizations. My goal remains the same: to create high-quality, affordable fiber tools that bring the joy of fiber arts to more people around the world.
As for the Nano 2.1 itself, testers are reporting that it’s a big improvement over the Nano 2.0. While it’s the same size and motor, I made a number of refinements to make it quieter, smoother, and easier to use. I can’t wait to see the community’s reaction once it’s finally in your hands!
