Microphone Sensor

This microphone sensor, which plugs into either of the Sensor ports on the Camera Axe, detects moderate to loud sounds. It easily detects guns, popping balloons, breaking glass, snapping fingers, other things like that. It will detect talking into the microphone, but it won't detect talking from across the room.

Here's a few example images captured with this sensor. The first is a pickle as it's being shot by an air gun. The second is popping a water filled balloon.





The Camera Axe settings for both of these were similar. Here are the settings:

Camera/Flash1 (Flash)

• Trigger by: Sensor1
• Delay (ms): (about) 40
• Cycle: 5

Camera/Flash2 (Nothing)

• Type: Doesn't matter
• Trigger by: None
• Delay (ms): Doesn't matter
• Cycle: Doesn't matter

Sensor1 (Microphone Sensor)

• Trigger on: High
• Value: 700
• Power: On

Sensor2 (Nothing)

• Trigger on: Doesn't matter
• Value: Doesn't matter
• Power: Doesn't matter
